Lexus currently offers the ES with three different engines. It should remain the same for 2024. The standard engine is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder that produces 203 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. All-wheel drive is standard with this powertrain. A 3.5-liter V6 is available, producing 302 horsepower and 267 pound-feet of torque. The V6 engine is only available with front wheel drive. The ES Hybrid has a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and two 215 horsepower electric motors.
Every ES comes standard with the Lexus Safety System 2.5+ package that features pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, lane guard assist, lane departure warning, and motion alert.
