2024 Honda Accord Price Release Date Price And Redesign

2024 Honda Accord. The upcoming 2024 Honda Accord Type R is speculated, and Honda will have an easy time making it more appealing than the Civic Type R. According to rumors, this vehicle will ride on the same platform as the current Accord and will share many of its components.

Hopefully the Honda Accord Type R will also come with a much better cabin and be packed with a lot of technology. Many believe that if this model happened, the Civic Type R engine would also be borrowed. The current model uses a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine capable of producing 306 horsepower.

2024 Honda Accord Design

According to the new renderings, the Honda Accord Type R 2024 is expected to be more aggressive than the regular model. We immediately noticed some changes in the front and rear. First of all, the design looks more sporty, Honda Accord Type R features a large red H badge in the middle of the grille, as well as a small Type R plaque.

Other visual improvements include thinner LED headlights, attractive alloy wheels, improved suspension, tires and brakes. At the rear, the aggressiveness of this sports car continues with an attractive bumper and four unique exhaust pipes.

2024 Honda Accord Interior

Inside, the 2024 Honda Accord looks more sporty than the regular model. From what we can see, the manufacturer redesigned the cabin, adding more quality materials and some red accents. However, like the regular model, the Honda Accord Type R comes with the same sloping roof, so it doesn’t really affect the rear headroom.

Therefore, we expect the same 40.4 inches of rear legroom. At the front, the manufacturer has added more comfortable seats, as well as a more intuitive infotainment system with an 8-inch touch screen. The luggage volume is best in class, and at 16.7 cubic feet, you’ll be able to fit a lot of things.

2024 Honda Accord Engine

As mentioned, the Honda Accord Type R will likely share the same mechanics as the Civic Type R. This means we’ll see the same 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine making 306 horsepower under the Civic Type R.

However, we think the engine under the hood of the Honda Accord Type R can produce more horses. What does 350-HP or even more look like to you? It is also possible that Honda will provide some kind of electricity to provide such a number of horses.

2024 Honda Accord Release Date And Price

Given that this model has not been officially confirmed, there is no information regarding the release date, or even the price of the 2024 Honda Accord. However, many fans believe that the release date of this high-performance model could be around 2022.

The current Honda Accord starts at $25,470, while the Sport model is around $37,400. Moreover, with so many options, this top model can be priced at $43,000. For comparison, the Toyota Camry in the same category starts at 25,000, while the Kia K5, Hyundai Sonata, and Subaru Legacy are all in the same ballpark.

2024 Honda Accord Update

Sedans don’t die on Honda. The long-lived Accord will live to see its eleventh generation, and these compelling test car spy photos give us our first glimpse of the new model. At first glance, the overall look looks very similar to the current Accord. Sweeping stripes with tall, sloping roofs remain the order of the day. Thus, the sedan bones can be passed on to a new generation, but everything in the front and rear will be new. It’s easy to see the slimmer headlights flanking the slightly larger grille overall. A transparent bumper separates the grille from the hatch in the lower fascia, and the hood looks flatter. The front end of the wheel appears shorter as well.

Moving on to the rear, we think the current model’s C-shaped taillights and reflectors will give it a slimmer lens. The body sculpted on the trunk lid looks a lot like today’s Accord, but it may be a fake panel designed to confuse curious onlookers. We can see more fake panels on the doors, so while this prototype appears to be wearing a basic sporty camouflage wrap, there are a few tricks going on underneath.

We can see that the sedan’s proportions haven’t changed much, if at all. The wheelbase looks the same, and if the next-generation Accord features the current platform, at least some of the engine options will likely carry over. Right now, you can own an Accord by opting for the turbocharged four-cylinder engine, starting with a 1.5-liter engine that produces 192 horsepower. The 2.0-liter 252-horsepower engine is an upgrade, and there’s also an Accord Hybrid using a 2.0-liter non-turbocharged motor with a 212-horsepower electric motor. Additional electrical options are likely, although they may not appear at initial launch.

Incidentally, Honda has confirmed that the next generation Accord Hybrid will debut after the new CR-V Hybrid. We know the CR-V will come later this year as a 2024 model, so it’s reasonable to expect the Accord to follow shortly. Currently, we are targeting a debut in early 2024 for 2024.

2024 Honda Accord News

The Accord may not be Honda’s bread and butter — which would be the current CR-V crossover — but the top ten award-winning sedan is about to enter a new generation. These spy photos show off the new design, which looks clean and simple and isn’t much different from the current 10th generation model that’s been around since 2018.

At the front, there are narrow headlights on the sides in the form of a relatively simple grille. There is minimal surface along the sides, and the taillights seem to extend from the back and wrap around the fenders.

Honda has confirmed that it intends to make the next-generation Accord hybrid a larger part of the sales mix, with the company targeting the hybrid version to generate at least 50 percent of sales for its CR-V, Accord and Civic models. . Honda also said the hybrid will be “the best and best performing model in its lineup.” Hopefully, this means that the current 212-horsepower Accord Hybrid will get the power, not that Honda plans to drop the Accord’s powerful 2.0-liter turbocharged engine option. The 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder will likely remain the primary engine, although it may have some revisions.

Given that Honda dropped the six-speed manual transmission from the Accord a few years ago, we unfortunately think it’s unlikely that this transmission will return for the new generation. A continuously variable automatic transmission will be standard equipment. Several Accord competitors, including the Kia K5, Nissan Altima and Toyota Camry, have added all-wheel drive options in recent years, but we doubt Honda will go that route.

Expect the interior of the 2024 Accord to adopt a styling similar to that of the newer Civic and the upcoming CR-V, both featuring the distinctive honeycomb texture of the air vents and a tablet-style touchscreen located atop the center of the dashboard.

We think 2024 will be the last year for the current Accord, which means the new model will likely arrive sometime next year as a 2024 vehicle. Honda said the new Accord hybrid will follow the debut of the 2024 CR-V scheduled for July 12, but no time has been set. Specified for the arrival of the new sedan.
