This cherished package wasn’t offered for Chevy pickups for a while, but it is probably no longer. Chevrolet will soon introduce a new line of Silverado pickup trucks with the Super Sport package.
This means all the newer elements and amenities that will change the overall look and feel of the truck. Making it look less like a workhorse and more like an everyday car is something Chevy should have done a long time ago. Pickup trucks are long gone back in the days when simple mules were working. People love to ride it for their daily activities. They are today’s style statement.
Manufacturers are taking this trend and trying to take advantage of it. The Super Sport package is pretty much everything you need in a pretty little package. Reports indicate that the 2024 Super Sport Silverado will provide more power. It will be interesting to see if that power comes from a gas or electric motor (like the upcoming Silverado EV).
2024 Chevy Silverado Reaper Design
From the outside, we can see the new, contemporary design of the Chevy Silverado Reaper 2024. The designers decided to make the truck less compact and give it more curves. This has many reasons behind it, one of which is style. Today’s trucks look more aggressive and repulsive with their sleek, curved design. This makes it more aerodynamic and comfortable. This helps with the fuel economy and stability of the truck itself. Something we absolutely love to see in pickup trucks or vehicles.
The truck will be on big wheels, we heard it might be 33 inches with the tires. It remains to be seen if the tires will get fat and center it off-road. Wheel rims are made of aluminum alloy. It removes some weight which is always appreciated. The all-new Silverado Reaper comes with a regular sized cargo bed, so you can expect some furniture to fit in the back without any problem. Tailgate has many popular options nowadays. The front end has also been updated. The new Chevrolet Silverado Reaper 2024 will have a large, wide and long front grille. This gives a great look to an already elegant Silverado. There is the famous Chevy badge in the middle.
The grille is also made of aluminum to reduce weight and increase the strength-to-weight ratio. Something we can’t get enough of in a pickup. This improves performance and provides better traction and towing, which is much needed in a pickup truck. In addition, it improves air circulation to ensure that there is no excess heat under the hood. Speaking of the hood, it’s quite sporty with the new Super Sport treatment.

Chevy has done its best to make the interior of the 2024 Chevy Silverado Reaper look like a first-class ride. There are no official reports on the layout of the new Silverado. But most likely it will be a full-size truck, which means that it will accommodate five passengers without any problems. But there will be different versions of the cab available, that’s for sure.
The dashboard will likely be updated as well. There’s no point in keeping the old Chevy Silverado Reaper 2024 styling. So expect to see a lot of chrome, and maybe some wood accents along with the dashboard and around the cabin. Although the new Silverado Reaper will be loaded with equipment, it won’t feel intimidating. Everything is positioned in such a way that it offers maximum comfort and the cabin itself feels very spacious. The infotainment system should be the central touchscreen unit to control almost everything inside. We hope it’s not too small so everyone can join in the fun. Connectivity will be standard with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. You also get bluetooth and wifi hotspot. The instrument panel may be fully digital, and several manufacturers have taken this step towards the cabin’s futuristic look.
2024 Chevy Silverado Reaper Engine
Nothing is official yet, we can only speculate what will be under the hood of the new 2024 Chevrolet Silverado Reaper. But the new Silverado has some great options available. It’s the 6.2L V8 that powers the standard model. It produces 420 horsepower. The Super Sport may get a better version that can produce more horses and spin the wheels faster. Adding a supercharger to the engine should work.
Also, there is a hybrid version on the table. It is clear that hybrid systems can provide significant energy and fuel savings as well. The supercharged version should produce around 700 hp. All versions will be available with all-wheel drive and a 10-speed automatic transmission. The folks at Motortrend don’t rule out the possibility of an all-electric version. Also, all of these renderings are from GM Authority’s virtual Chevy Silverado EV Reaper.
2024 Chevy Silverado Reaper Release Date And Price
We are still waiting for the official news, but until then we can only speculate that the price will be more than 40 thousand dollars. But it is known that projects will be canceled early, so treat all this with caution. If that happens, we’ll see a new 2024 Chevy Silverado Reaper on the road in the first half of 2024.
2024 Chevy Silverado Reaper Update
The highly anticipated 2020 Chevrolet Silverado Reaper will be the main competitor to the off-road-ready Ford F-150 Raptor. The new Reaper will carry the traditional Silverado design language while adding some sporty refinements and subtle touches and details. Therefore, the 2020 Reaper will not only be an outstanding off-road performer, but also give it a very distinctive look.
Aside from the engine room, looks are probably the best answer in the competition with the popular Ford Raptor. The large badge on the rear panel of the Reaper is a clear reference to earlier versions of the Raptor. But Chevrolet isn’t just a copy of the Ford truck. The upcoming Reaper will offer excellent off-road capability, a speed of 60 mph on the candy track, and suspension that will ensure a smooth ride through streams and dry hills.
2020 Chevy Reaper Design and Exterior Features
The 2020 Chevy Reaper will offer several exterior improvements. You’ll notice a new, more prominent badge, a replacement front bumper with a higher clearance, integrated LED driving/off-road lights, and new fender lights. Also, the Reaper adds a Lingenfelter exhaust, unique door panel accents and painted interior trim.
In addition, the Chevy trucks will include a new gauge package, embroidered headrests, redesigned front grilles, a revamped hood, and wide fender openings. So, as you can see, Reaper 2020 comes with a lot of updates and design changes. Plus, the performance updates cover just about everything – from the suspension to the sleek exterior. For suspension, you’ll find 20-inch General Graber tires and stainless steel plates.
Additionally, the Chevy truck offers 3-inch off-road suspension, Fox racing shocks, and an exclusive Reaper wheel package. Additional upgrades are also available. These packages include high-performance 17-inch Beadlock wheels, a red Grabber tire package, a frosted matte paint job, a Reaper graphics package, a Lingenfelter and Magnuson TSV1900 Supercharger for the 5.3L or 6.2L powertrains.
Under the hood of the 2020 Chevy Reaper there will be two engine options. Both units provide outstanding off-road performance, with more than enough power. The first option is the Lingenfelter TVS1900 Magnuson 5.3L Supercharged drivetrain. This plant produces 475 hp. The second is a 6.2-liter Lingenfelter TVS1900 Magnuson supercharger, which produces 550 hp.
Both engines use proprietary Lingenfelter software and the CORSA performance exhaust system. So, whichever motor you choose, you will never have a shortage of power. Also, the Fox Racing suspension gear adds 3 inches of ground to provide the best performance on the highway.
Additionally, the manufacturer’s Fox Racing 3.0 series shocks offer 9.2 inches of front travel and 11.2 inches of rear travel. Additionally, the skid plate adds another eight inches of front clearance. As a result, the 2020 Reaper is a true off-road vehicle, which can successfully cope with any terrain.
How Much Will The 2020 Chevy Reaper Cost?
The 2020 Chevy Reaper will be available in three versions. The starting price will be around $50,000. But, if you want the full package, it will cost you an extra $10,000. Bonus package includes supercharged combine harvester. But, whatever your decision, you will get everything you want from an off-road truck.
2024 Chevy Silverado Reaper News
High-performance off-road pickup trucks have become a popular spot among truck drivers in recent years. There are models such as Ford Raptor, Toyota Tundra TRD Pro, Ram Rebel, etc. On the other hand, Chevy still has doubts about such a version, so do not be surprised if it was made by a third party. Given GM’s current situation, it looks like we could easily see a similar scenario next year, with the 2021 Chevy Reaper.
As you might expect, famous tuner Ken Lingenfelter will be in charge of this model once again and we have no doubt things will be even more impressive compared to the previous generation. The 2021 Chevy Reaper is still waiting for official confirmation, but several reports indicate that this will definitely happen.
2021 Chevy Reaper Exterior Design
We assume Ken Lingenfelter will take the same approach as the new 2021 Chevy Reaper. Of course, the new generation Silverado, which arrived last year, will be the norm. On the other hand, we assume that the new version will come with a similar type of upgrade, which includes mechanical and visual tweaks.
When it comes to mechanical modifications, the first thing that comes to mind is the full load of off-road upgrades. If you look at the original Reaper, you can see things like 20-inch Beadlock wheels, Fox Racing suspension, high-clearance fenders, reinforced skid plates, and an integrated spot lighting system. We’re assuming there’s a new release coming with everything, plus a few more.
Stylistically, the original version features a significantly modified front end, with new headlights, grille, bumper, etc. Therefore, we have no doubt that things will not be much different for the Reaper 2021.
These off-road designers often had performance in mind when working on the original. Therefore, we have not seen any specific changes from the inside. Everything is pretty much the same as on the standard Silverado, so we assume the approach won’t be different on the new model either. However, there is one tricky question. It will be a fact that the 2021 Silverado will come with a completely new interior. To date, the model has a cabin design based on the previous generation. Which one will find its place in the 2021 Chevy Reaper, it’s hard to say at this point.
2021 Chevy Reaper engine
Of course, all the chassis and suspension upgrades will require solid reserves in terms of engine power, so we’re sure there will be tweaks in that aspect as well. Without a doubt, it will be an upgraded version of the popular 6.2-liter small-block engine, which basically produces around 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. The former Reaper received a lot of help from the supercharger, which brought its maximum output to 550 horsepower.
We assume maximum production will be higher in the new 2021 Chevy Reaper. One of the reasons we believe in such a thing is the fact that the Ford Raptor and Ram Rebel allegedly came with a terrible 700 horsepower engine. Therefore, we can expect something similar for this model.
2021 Chevy Reaper Release Date And Price
At this point, the new 2021 Chevy Reaper is just a rumor, though several reports suggest it’s coming. Assuming one day the price will be around $65/70,000. As we just mentioned, the main competitors are the Ford Raptor and the Ram Rebel TRX.
