The first image shows the new 2023 Toyota Urban Cruiser as a smaller Fortuner. However, some things are completely different. 2023 Toyota Urban Cruiser Engine
Under the hood, the 2023 Toyota Urban Cruiser will have a 1.5-liter K-Class four-cylinder engine. We love that Toyota offers both manual and automatic transmissions. Additionally, this motor is equipped with a lithium-ion battery that provides torque assist, idle, and regenerative braking system.
Performance specs weren’t available, and Toyota simply said the Urban Cruiser would provide “superior fuel efficiency.” The Suzuki Vitara Brezza uses a 1.5-liter engine as well, producing 103 horsepower and 101 pound-feet of torque. For the Urban Cruiser, we think a compact crossover will produce more power.
2023 Toyota Urban Cruiser Release Date And Price
Prices for the new 2023 Toyota Urban Cruiser are not available at the moment. We expect a slightly higher starting price for the Suzuki Vitara Brezza. Sales will start in the coming months. Moreover, this model will debut in India. Finally, we can’t say whether Toyota plans to sell a compact crossover elsewhere.

2023 Toyota Urban Cruiser Update
Toyota is working on two new models – a new mid-size SUV and a C-Class MPV for the Indian market. The new mid-size SUV is rumored to arrive in late 2022, while the new C-Class SUV will arrive in 2023. The company will also launch a Glanza and Toyota Urban Cruiser before the end of 2022.
The new Toyota Urban Cruiser compact SUV will be launched after the introduction of the new Brezza. The new model will come with significant design changes, which will be in line with the new Brezza. The new Brezza is said to be launched in April 2022.
The new Toyota Urban Explorer will build on the existing platform and will also maintain the existing design portfolio. This new model will come with several design changes in the form of a new grille, new headlight setup, revised bumper, and new LED taillights.
Significant changes will be made in the cabin. The new Toyota Urban Cruiser SUV compact will come with a new dashboard with a larger stand-alone touchscreen infotainment system. This infotainment unit was jointly developed by Suzuki and Toyota. It will be compatible with Android Auto wireless, Apple CarPlay, voice recognition and navigation. The SUV will also receive a wireless charging system and a SIM card-connected car kit.
The new model will come with paddle shifters, automatic air conditioning, a factory-installed electric sunroof, a new semi-digital control unit and more. Hopefully, the higher-spec model will offer a 360-degree camera. The new Urban Cruiser is expected to be equipped with 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP (Electronic Stability Program), rear parking camera and sensors and more.
The new Toyota Urban Cruiser will be powered by the 1.5 liter K15B gasoline engine used by the current vehicle. It is capable of producing 104 horsepower and 138 Nm of torque. Vehicles can get a more powerful hybrid system for better fuel efficiency. Instead of a 4-speed torque converter, the new SUV can get a six-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The new unit will likely come with advanced technology and offer a sport mode, manual shift options and additional proportions. The new Brezza will also receive a CNG version; However, it’s too early to comment on whether or not the Urban Cruiser will receive this powertrain.
