2023 Lotus Eletre. Loftus Eletre 2023 made its premiere last week. This is a really appealing model for a variety of reasons. Lotus claims that this is the world’s first super-fast SUV. Of course, the Eletre is an all-electric vehicle with 600 horsepower. This SUV will also have a driving range of 373 miles on a single charge.

The first photo is here, and we think the Eletre model looks amazing. While the world premiere takes place in London, the Eletre model will be built in China. Eletre means “return to life” and is pronounced “El-etra”. Without further ado, here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming all-electric SUV.

2023 Lotus Eletre Design

For starters, the 2023 Lotus Eletre is a high-riding SUV with unusual style. The aerodynamics are quite impressive, along with the exterior color palette. This model uses the new Lotus Premium platform, designed for vehicles with a wheelbase between 113 and 122 inches. The Eletre SUV has a long wheelbase of 118.9 inches and a model of nearly 201 inches.

This is the size of a BMW X7 SUV. On the other hand, the X7 model offers a longer wheelbase. This is particularly useful because the Eletre model will not offer three rows of seating. The pictures don’t show it, but the Lotus Elite is a pretty big SUV. It combines sporty style with elegant exterior design and looks very modern and distinctive.

2023 Lotus Eletre Interior

The interior of the 2023 Lotus Eletre is excellent and very modern. Manufacturers will offer smaller LED driver screens. This unit is responsible for important driver information, including driving speed and range. There’s also a smaller screen that shows radio information, navigation, and more. The Eletre model also offers a 15.1-inch touch screen display. Behind the front seats, another screen is available, if you choose the four-seat interior.

A five-seater version is also offered. As we said, the Eletre SUV will not offer three rows of seats. Interestingly, Lotus will offer several cameras instead of the traditional rearview mirror. US buyers will have to accept more regular mirrors because these cameras are still illegal in the US. Comfort is amazing and the Eletre will also provide plenty of driver assistance.

2023 Lotus Eletre Engine

The new platform will be able to accommodate a 100 kWh battery pack. This battery is installed on the floor of the SUV. The Lotus Eletre 2023 will offer a range of approximately 373 miles on a single charge. However, we expect that number to drop a bit once the Eletre SUV takes to the streets. Lotus also says that a pair of electric motors will produce up to 600 horsepower. All-wheel drive will be standard. The charger will cost 350 kW more, but will save up to 250 miles in just 20 minutes of charging.

2023 Lotus Eletre Release Date And Price

The upcoming 2023 Lotus Eletre will cost about $120,000. However, the price is not official yet. Sales will begin later this year, in Europe and soon after in the United States.

2023 Lotus Eletre Update

Get ready for the biggest, heaviest and heaviest lotus ever; The all-new Eletre SUV takes its maker around the world. After the Emira came Eletre, Lotus’ first SUV, first SUV and first series-produced electric car – you can’t really call the production model the £2m Evija supercar. It is also the first Lotus to be designed and developed on a global scale using all of the company’s existing and newly established development centres, from the new technology center in Wellsborn, Warwickshire, to new research and development centers in Sweden and Germany and, of course, HTC. It will also be the first Lotus to be built outside the company’s home in Norfolk, with a new technology campus (they no longer call it a factory) in Wuhan, China. Shipments will begin in 2023 for markets in the UK, Europe and China.

All of the above means that Lotus has developed a new platform for building Eletre, called Electric Premium Architecture (EPA). Once the SUV is in operation, it will be further developed to create a sedan-competing Porsche Taycan/GT, and an all-electric sports car in the spirit of the Elise, which will also form the basis for the new Alpine electric sports car. .

The Eletre core is an aluminum and steel construction incorporating an integrated 800V high voltage grid with a custom designed battery pack developed with British Volt that improves cell density and charging efficiency. Along with the battery packed between the front and rear axles, there are a pair of electric motors at either end, giving the Eletre all-wheel drive capability. The engine, control and damper are combined into a single, three-in-one package to improve weight and reduce the overall size of the powertrain.

Lotus is still silent when it comes to exact numbers, but in terms of performance and communication power “from 600 hp”, all three versions will be offered with all-wheel drive. The target specification of the 100 kWh battery has also been confirmed, which will allow a largely depleted battery to be charged in 18 minutes on a 350 kWh charging network. A top speed of 162 mph and three seconds of sub-zero was confirmed sixty times, with a range of about 348 miles.

All Eletre models will use air suspension, with active ride height control and an active pneumatic system. Adaptive dampers, rear axle steering, electrically active anti-roll bars, and torque vectoring via an electronic limited slip differential will also be available. As usual, large 23-inch wheels and carbon-ceramic brakes will also make the list of options.

Four driving modes will be included in all three variants: range, tour, sport and off-road, and an additional single mode that allows a degree of influence over steering weight, damper settings, powertrain and throttle response.

If you’ve been expecting an electric SUV stripped to the bone, you’ll probably be disappointed, because with so many of its likes, this is a car with enough anagrams to sink the Scrabble board. There is a light detection and range detection system (LIDAR) to facilitate self-driving capabilities, and an optional Electric Reversing Mirror Display (ERMD) that replaces the outside rearview mirror depending on the Audi e-tron Sportback. Then there’s the active safety system for adaptive cruise control and the Hate Lane Protection Assist program.

All this technology needs to go somewhere, which somewhat explains – but never justifies – why a Lotus looks the size of a Range Rover. They are 5.1 meters long, have a wheelbase of three meters and are 2.2 meters wide if you don’t install luxury electric mirrors (2.1 meters wide if you do). The relatively low ceiling line of 1.6 meters helps to hide some volume. Just. Interestingly, despite talk in media docs about it being lightweight and Colin Chapman’s strict approach to adding lightweight, no weight numbers are available other than that it will weigh “less than two tons.” It would also cost “under £100,000”.

After spending 25 years designing Elise derivatives, Eletre needed a new design language that no other Lotus had. There’s a hint of a Lamborghini Urus on the front, a Kia EV6 in the back and plenty going on on every surface. It’s hard to judge the photo studios’ pedigree in isolation, but that’s not the featherweight that Lotus was built where the company was founded.

The interior is once again a quantum leap in terms of design and materials for Lotus. As low-carbon materials as possible are used, a large, center-mounted screen contains most of the control interface, with a neat little instrument tucked into the driver’s eye line. After sampling the quality of the Emira’s interior, the Eletre will impress far beyond the company’s new sports car.

After Emira, this Eletre was a completely different lotus. It is a global car that begins the company’s journey towards electrification and a future where Lotus is no longer a low-volume sports car manufacturer. Just as the Cayenne drove Porsche on a path of growth unimaginable twenty years ago, Lotus hopes its first SUV and later cars will have a very similar effect.

2023 Lotus Eletre News

Lotus built its brand with its two-seater supercar, but now it’s making a drastic change. The automaker recently introduced the 2024 Lotus Eletre, a high-performance electric SUV. Find out about the release date, price and specifications of the Eletre. The release date for the Lotus Eletre 2024 is 2024. It will be available for sale at Lotus dealers in the United States, as well as in select international markets, including China. For pre-order/reservation information, stay tuned. Lotus, which is owned by the Chinese multinational Geely, will build Eletre in Wuhan, China. Most Eletre sales will likely come from car buyers in China.

What Is The Cost Of The Lotus Eletre 2024?

Lotus has not released any information on pricing and configuration/configuration for the Eletre 2024. However, Car and Driver estimates that the initial Eletre 2024 will cost around $120,000. For the more powerful version of Eletre, the price will be higher. So far, the only details Lotus has released about the Eletre 2024 powertrain is that it will have all-wheel drive, and the base model will have a performance output of 600 horsepower. This likely means that the Eletre has two electric motors, one in the front and one in the rear.

Other versions of Eletre will likely have much more power. Also, Lotus claims that at least one version of the Eletre will have a 0-100 kph (0-62 mph) acceleration time of less than three seconds. Eletre has a battery with a capacity of about 100.0 kWh. Lotus claims the electric SUV has an estimated range of 373 miles on the European WLTP cycle. The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) rating for Eletre will be lower. MPGe fuel economy estimates for the Eletre are not yet available.

2024 Lotus Eletre: Exterior Design and Features

While the Lotus Eletre 2024 shows a lot of promise up front, its dramatic design is perhaps what stands out most. With its sculpted shape, the Eletre looks like a futuristic concept car, but the images you see here are of the production version. Notable Eletre exterior design features include a closed grille hood, a three-position rear spoiler, and 22 or 23-inch wheels. Additionally, the Eletre has futuristic exterior features, including “a lidar sensor that exits the chassis and allows for a high degree of autonomous operation.” In addition, the Eletre has a full-width light strip on the elevator doors with the ability to change to green, blue, red and orange.

In addition, the electric SUV will offer “a camera-based rearview mirror system, which will be [available] in areas where this is permitted.” However, in the United States, “traditional door mirrors will become the norm.” This cabin is what makes the 2024 Lotus Eletre feel more different than previous Lotus models. While many Lotus supercars feature minimalist interiors with a greater emphasis on performance, the Eletre places greater emphasis on comfort, luxury and ambiance.

Notable interior features displayed on the Eletre include milled bronze metal rocker switches, a full-length panoramic glass roof, a 15.1-inch OLED center touchscreen, a head-up display, and a 15- or 23-speaker audio system. As for the seating configuration, Eletre offers “four seats with single buckets in the back or five seats with three seats in the back.”
