2023 Kia Telluride. The new Kia Telluride 2023 is the company’s most important SUV. Because of its positive market performance, the maker plans to update its flagship product in the coming year, bringing with it a fantastic visual evaluation. Kia will almost surely redesign the front end, and we may expect a more fascinating look.
As far as we know, the Telluride will come with an interior graphic of the headlights, and the radiator grille pattern will take on a more prominent shape. However, the LED headlights integrated into the bumper may disappear on the current model with a facelift on the new model. Like the outgoing model, we expect the new model to come with the same single-engine options.
2023 Kia Telluride Design
The answer is yes. The new 2023 Kia Telluride will arrive next year, and it has a significant visual revision. According to several reports, Kia will make this model more competitive by changing the front end. Perhaps the new model will get some changes to the interior graphics of the headlights, and we expect the radiator grille with a unique pattern design, which will definitely give it a more prominent look.
At the back, a test prototype earlier this month suggested some minor tweaks to the taillights. In general, the design of this SUV depends on the trim level.
2023 Kia Telluride Interior
The Kia Telluride is still a relatively new model on the market, and we don’t expect some drastic changes to it. Of course, the manufacturer will make the cabin more comfortable, and is likely to add more advanced technology. The new 3rd row SUV remains one of the largest models in its class. Luggage space behind the third row is 21 cubic feet, which isn’t bad at all. Folding the back row too, however, this model opens up 46 cubic feet. If you’re looking for more space, you can fold the second and third rows to increase that to 87 cubic feet.
The newer model will retain the same 10.25-inch infotainment screen with split screen functionality at the forefront of technology. Navigation is also standard, including Apple CarPlay / Android Auto smartphone integration, satellite radio, and five USB ports.
2023 Kia Telluride Engine
Under the hood is a 3.8-liter V6 that drives all Telluride versions, producing 291 horsepower. Unfortunately, as before, there is no turbocharger or supercharger, just an outdated natural intake system. Overall, the configuration is very good, and the new Telluride should continue to use the same eight-speed automatic transmission.
Front-wheel drive is standard, while all-wheel drive can only be optional. Many believe that the mechanics of the engine will be improved, and we should expect better efficiency. The current front-wheel drive version is rated at around 23 mpg. With a full fuel tank, the Telluride offers a range of about 400 miles. The towing capacity of this SUV is 5,000 pounds, which is very good for its class.
2023 Kia Telluride Release Date And Price
As for the release date, we expect the restyled 2023 Kia Telluride to arrive next year. It will most likely go on sale in about half a year. Given some significant upgrades, the new Telluride will be a bit more expensive than before. Current models start at $33,000 for the base model, while the longer model with all-wheel drive pushes the price up to $46,890.

2023 Kia Telluride Update
It was just over a month ago when Kia unveiled the 2022 Telluride with a luxurious new company logo and a bit more standard equipment. To make more significant changes, you will have to wait until model year 2023 provided that an improved version is introduced in the next 12 months. Meanwhile, a highly camouflaged and in-person prototype of a mid-size SUV has been discovered at home in South Korea.
Although the Telluride was only introduced a few years ago and sold well, Kia is in a hurry to deliver the largest SUV ever sold in North America. The same applies to the mechanically linked Hyundai Palisade, which will be updated in 2022 as well as the presentation to investors.
The heavy cap might tempt you to think Telluride is going to get a complete makeover, but we tend to think it’s going to be a typical mid-cycle review. After all, why mess with the winning recipe? Peeking through the grille camouflage are the redesigned headlights and taillights that feature new graphics while probably keeping the same look as the kit.
Kia has revamped the front grille for 2022 and it looks like the so-called tiger nose is getting another new design, with vertical elements to replace the grille-like setup of the existing Telluride. However, these changes may be limited to certain trim levels and may not be adopted by all popular SUV types. A slightly reshaped bumper should complement the changes to the exterior.
The spy video also gives us a chance to peek into the predominantly white cabin where everything but the dashboard is revealed. We’re not holding our breath for the big changes inside, especially since the Telluride 2022 already has a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment screen as standard equipment.
Given that Kia revised the SUV back in June and this is only a first glimpse of the improved model, it’s unlikely that the official premiere will be any time soon. The revised Telluride may debut in its home market by the end of the year, but a US-spec model is likely to be released sometime in 2022.

2023 Kia Telluride News
Remember how a few weeks ago the Kia K5 2022 got some minor updates and adopted the new company logo? Well, the Kia Telluride – MotorTrend’s best SUV of 2020 – gets a similar update for 2022, with that new logo and some nice extras.
For one thing, the company’s new logo adorns a slightly redesigned grille – however, it’s still framed by ornate winged bars and features a bold grille-like pattern. “Telluride” is still written above the grille at the front end of the cap. The cute Nightfall Edition, with dark trim etc., returns in 2022 and joins other Nightfall Edition models in the lineup, such as the smaller Seltos 2022. There are no changes to the powertrain; Single-engine offering is still a good 3.8-liter V-6 with 291 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque.
The 2021 Kia Telluride starts with the LX model, priced at $33,415. For 2022, the price of the base LX model has increased to $34,015 — a jump of $600. For those extra dents, buyers of the 2022 Telluride will get some valuable standard perks. The LX and S models get a larger 10.25-inch navigation screen, fully automatic temperature control, and highway driving assistance. For all trims, intelligent cruise control based on the navigation system is available.
