2023 Alfa Romeo Stelvio. The fast SUV has been around for a long, but we don’t anticipate any major modifications for next year. According to recent reports, the Alfa Romeo Stelvio 2023 will mostly be a carryover vehicle with the same appearance and interior design. The new Veloce model, on the other hand, will introduce something fresh in terms of trim level regulation. It will replace the Ti Sport but will most likely be quite similar in terms of functionality. The powertrain department will almost definitely remain unchanged.
In general, you can count on a familiar layout. This crossover offers a great driving experience, which is all about sporty driving. It also looks great and has a lot of Italian sports car flavor. The cabin quality, on the other hand, could be better, while the cargo area is among the smallest in its class. We expect to see the Alfa Romeo Stelvio 2023 on sale later in the year.
2023 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Design
As we just mentioned, the overall design will remain the same. The Alfa Romeo Stelvio 2023 will continue with the same design. It has a lot in common with the Julia sedan. Of course, this is a crossover, so it cannot offer the same level of driving dynamics. However, if we compare it with its competitors, there are only a few models that can match the sporty impression of the Stelvio, especially in terms of handling. Since the suspension setup is all about sporty driving, you might assume the ride can be a bit quick at times.
In terms of style, there’s always a chance to see minor updates like new color options. On the other hand, the overall design will definitely remain the same. It is among the most handsome models in its class, and is distinguished by its extremely precise lines, which stand out from the crowd that mostly circles sharp corners.
2023 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Interior
Inside, this SUV offers an attractive design. The dashboard looks very sporty, although there are some complaints. Although everything looks great, the overall quality is actually not quite as high as you’d expect from a luxury SUV. While most of the materials are good, the fit and finish are definitely better. This Alfa Romeo is far from its German competitor in terms of interior quality.
The 2023 Alfa Romeo Stelvio wouldn’t be very practical either. Moreover, the charging space is well below average. It only offers about 18.5 cubic feet of space behind the rear seats and 56.5 cubic feet of total volume. In addition, the second row should be more spacious, while the front seats are more powerful than those of competitors. This is great in terms of support during sports tours, but can be a major drawback during long trips.
When it comes to features, the biggest novelty is definitely the new trim level called the Veloce. It will replace the Ti Sport, but most of the features will remain the same. You can count on things like the paddle shifters, a limited-slip rear differential, and sport suspension, while the biggest plus is probably the Quadrifoglio’s Alcantara leather.
The rest of the squad should continue without more significant changes. So, the base model should come standard with goodies like dual-zone climate control, remote start, an 8.8-inch touch screen, eight-speaker stereo, satellite radio, Bluetooth, five USB ports, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. Higher trim levels also offer good things like a dual-panel sunroof, navigation, wireless device charging, HD Radio, 10-speaker stereo, and Harman Kardon’s 14-speaker stereo.
In terms of safety, all models should come standard with items such as a rearview camera, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, and rear parking sensors.
2023 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Engine
Things under the hood will definitely stay the same. Therefore, the standard model will continue with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, producing around 280 horsepower. It offers very good driving dynamics and is sure to satisfy most drivers. On the other hand, the Quadrifoglio version comes with a 2.9-liter V6 engine that produces around 505 horsepower and delivers excellent performance. Both engines are mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
In terms of fuel economy, the base engine delivers about 22 mpg city and 27 mpg highway. On the other hand, the optional V6 delivers about 17 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the highway.
It’s also important to know that the Quadrifoglio comes with upgrades like a torque-vectored rear differential, performance tires and upgraded Brembo brakes.
2023 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Release Date And Price
We hope to see 2023 Alfa Romeo Stelvio later in the year. The price change shouldn’t happen, so the base version should be around $45,000. The main competitors are models such as BMW X3, Mercedes-Benz GLC, Audi Q5, etc.

2023 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Update
The new Alfa Romeo Stelvio 2022 is set to arrive later this year, with some notable upgrades. This model is one of the most elegant SUVs in its class, with a unique appearance. Interestingly, this new model will bring some changes, especially from the inside. Of course, expect some modifications from the outside, which will lead to a more powerful design.
Like the Giulia Sedan, the new Alfa Romeo Stelvio has the same elegant interior that offers comfortable and supportive seating. Also, you get a sportier model with carbon fiber trim and a more luxurious look. The upcoming Stelvio will be powered by the same engine as its predecessor, while many rumors also point to a hybrid powertrain.
Redesign Alfa Romeo Stelvio 2022
The Alfa Romeo Stelvio’s exterior is not expected to change at all. This SUV will retain the same charming design as the Giulia Sedan. In terms of dimensions, this SUV is very similar to its competitors. By comparison, the Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 is 2.1 inches longer, and also 3.1 inches lower. Regardless, the Alfa Romeo Stelvio comes with a unique look, featuring a traditional V-shaped grille flanked by tall, slender headlights. It’s riding on a new platform that will also be used in the upcoming Dodge Journey.
Interestingly, the rear is boxy but unlike other SUVs. Fender flares and larger wheels are available, giving it a sporty look. The Veloce is a tire favorite, adding 20-inch alloy wheels borrowed from Stelvio Quadrifoglio and dual tailpipes with black exterior accents.
Cab repair
The interior of the Alfa Romeo Stelvio 2022 comes with a modern style and spaciousness. With two rows of seats, this SUV can seat five passengers. The Stelvio 2022’s cargo capacity is also 18.5 cubic feet, the same as the previous year. On the technical side, you will get more standard features.
This list is much longer than before, and includes an 8.8-inch touch screen, navigation, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, dual-zone automatic climate control, voice commands, Bluetooth connectivity, AM/FM radio, including satellite radio SiriusXM, and an 8-speaker audio system as standard. Additionally, you’ll find seat heating functions and faux leather upholstery on upper trims such as the Ti and Ti Sport trims.
Alfa Romeo Stelvio 2022 Engine Specifications
Like the first generation, the new Alfa Romeo Stelvio 2022 will have to draw its power from the same engine. This model uses a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 280 horsepower and 306 pound-feet of torque. It is mated to a smooth 8-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive as standard.
In addition, all-wheel drive is optional. Besides this engine, the manufacturer may also introduce a new hybrid system. Adding a hybrid system will definitely boost power and torque. In addition, we also consider better performance and excellent fuel efficiency.
Release Date And Price
The Alfa Romeo Stelvio 2022 will be a flagship SUV that will deliver design, performance and a more elegant interior. That being said, we should expect this model to debut at the end of the year. However, given what this model has to offer, it comes at a very affordable price.
Entry-level models start at just under $44,000, and can go as high as $55,000 when fully charged. In the same department there are several models, the closest of which are the Audi Q5, BMW X5 and Acura RDX.

2023 Alfa Romeo Stelvio News
Crossovers and SUVs have been booed for their cookie-cutter designs, among other things, but the 2022 Alfa Romeo Stelvio is one of the best examples of this type. Besides the chassis that would be called beauty, Alfa Romeo inspired a luxury compact crossover with a gorgeous chassis that was more communicative than the Italian beau. Under the hood is a bold turbocharged four-wheel drive paired with a well-calibrated transmission and either rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. While the Stelvio’s interior has some nice touches, like attractive wood trim options and tall shaft-mounted paddle shifters, it’s also spoiled by a few small trim and small rear seats and cargo areas. Sure, the BMW X3 and Porsche Macan are better alternatives, but the 2022 Stelvio is for those with a passion for style and a passion for driving.
For 2022, Alfa Romeo renamed the Ti Sport to Veloce and added a number of new standard features. The latter includes a suite of driver assistance such as adaptive cruise control, automatic headlights, blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning, and front and rear parking sensors. Auto-dimming mirrors, integrated navigation, heated front and rear seats, and wireless phone charging are also now standard. Each model now also has darker trim on the grille, exhaust tips, roof rails and skid plate. The Ti trim level adds a gray body kit; Adds aluminum footrest and sport pedals. Sprint and Veloce rims come with steering column-mounted aluminum paddle shifters.
We think the Stelvio Ti is the best. It comes standard with all-wheel drive, and is a $2,000 option on the entry-level Sprint model. The Ti adds standard features required which include larger 19-inch wheels, integrated navigation, a dual-panel sunroof and more options available. Most paint colors require an additional fee and there are a variety of wheel designs. We’ll stick with the standard wheels and opt for a Performance package (aluminum transmission, limited-slip differential), and a Premium package (14-speaker Harman/Kardon stereo, leather dashboard and door top).
Engine, Transmission And Performance
The Stelvio’s turbocharged four-cylinder engine sends 280 horsepower via an eight-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard on the base model, but all-wheel drive is optional and standard in the rest of the range. While the engine was very fast in our tests and looked great, the Stelvio’s only setup — besides the high-performance Quadrifoglio — eliminates the choice for buyers and limits drag to a maximum of 3,000 pounds. During daily driving, we really liked the responsive throttle and smooth power delivery. The hoarse exhaust sound is enthusiastic and perfect for this application. In addition to its beautiful design, the Stelvio offers sporty handling and a comfortable ride. Even with 20-inch wheels, the version we tested provided ample insulation on all but the top bumps. While its maximum cornering grip is comparable to that of its competitors, the Alfa is the alpha dog when it comes to sharing driving. The Giulia Sedan’s chassis itself is characterized by regulated and comfortable damping. While the Stelvio’s steering isn’t nearly as sharp as the Giulia’s, its light power and quick reflexes are still amazing—especially for a crossover.
Despite the Stelvio’s real-world fuel economy and mid-road range, they’re on par with four-cylinder competitors. The rear-wheel drive model is rated at 22 mpg in the city and 29 on the highway. Adding all-wheel drive lowers this highway rating by 1 mpg. We ran the Stelvio on the fuel-efficient highway at 75mph, which is part of our comprehensive test regimen, and it delivered 26 mpg on our test road. Alfa’s peerless performance and unique personality made this issue less of a concern to our minds, but alternatives like the X3 and Lexus RX were more economical. For more information on the Stelvio’s fuel economy, visit the EPA website.
Interior, Comfort And Shipping
Like the Giulia sedan, the Stelvio features a stylish interior and a comfortable driving position. A sporty model can be had with carbon fiber trim, but those looking for a more upscale look can opt for the wood inlay. In addition to the beautiful driving position, leather seats cover the supporting front seats, and elegant aluminum accents adorn the dashboard, doors and center console. The Stelvio has some useful storage tricks in its Italianate shell, but with a little cargo space behind the rear seats, it’s not the most spacious crossover of the bunch. While other Alfa cups only accommodate an average number, we appreciated the handy smartphone slot between the cup holder and the tray near the driver’s left knee. The center console also has a nice removable tray at the bottom.
The infotainment system comes in just one size – 8.8 inches – and responds to touch inputs and the easy-to-use rotary console in the center console serves as a redundant control. Built-in navigation, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto are standard integration. We found the infotainment system visually appealing, but the navigation alerts sometimes showed up late, missing a number of turns. Using one of the two standard smartphone integration interfaces for navigation solves this simple problem.
Safety And Driver Assistance Features
This Italian crossover has a number of standard driver aids. For more information about Stelvio crash test results, visit the websites of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). Key security features include:
Despite the company’s reputation for reliability issues, Alfa Romeo gives the Stelvio average warranty coverage.
