2022 Jaguar E-Pace. Jaguar is planning a reassessment of its SUV offering for next year. The newly seen 2022 Jaguar E-Pace is the second model to be restyled following the F-Pace. At the same time, the company will unveil its next-generation flagship XJ sedan with battery electric propulsion.

The new E-Pace is undergoing testing these days, and its entire body is wrapped in camouflage. From the information we got, the next model was seen for testing near the UK carmaker’s headquarters. It looks like the E-Pace will undergo more changes this time around. At first glance you can see the new front and rear fascias, as well as the new headlight interiors. Furthermore, we can expect some modifications under the hood.

2022 Jaguar E-Pace Design

We have some exclusive photos of the 2022 Jaguar E-Pace test mule. As mentioned earlier, the following model is a test and uses a full-body camo. The overall shape and proportions of this SUV will remain the same, but the outfit hints at some revisions up front. Most likely, the Jaguar E-Pace will receive a new, wider bumper and grille, as well as a different headlight system from the old one.

Some modifications can be seen in the back as well, and the automaker will use the new taillight graphics. Furthermore, the rear bumper also reveals that some modern touches will be produced at the bottom. The dual exhaust system is present as new black wheels on the sidewall.

2022 Jaguar E-Pace Interior

The luxury 2022 Jaguar E-Pace will get some interior updates. Unfortunately, at this time, there are no spy photos available. According to some speculation, the automaker will use softer materials and add more safety. In addition, we can also expect new text. A new digital instrument cluster and a larger infotainment screen is possible because the manufacturer also added it to the recently spied F-Pace.

In addition, the interior will remain the same, and this two-row seat will provide a spacious cabin for five passengers. The previous E-Pace was awarded five stars by Euro NCAP, and we can assume that the new model will continue to dominate in this division. The standard safety package includes emergency braking, driver fatigue monitor, lane keep assist, and front and rear parking sensors.

2022 Jaguar E-Pace Engine

The latest 2022 Jaguar E-Pace is an SUV that rests on a rigid platform that uses a combination of aluminum and steel. The E-Pace will likely borrow the same mild hybrid system from the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque.

This engine consists of a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with a turbocharger and electric generator. According to the latest report, this engine will be able to produce 296 horsepower. It’s a huge boost over the outgoing 246 horsepower model. However, we are still waiting for more news on transmission rates and fuel consumption.

2022 Jaguar E-Pace Release Date And price

2022 Jaguar E-Pace Update

The 2022 Jaguar E-Pace is an attractive and entertaining crossover, but it’s not as luxurious or practical as the premium alternatives. However, if unique branding and attractive design are at the forefront of your interests, then Jaguar may tickle your little one’s imagination. After all, we admire the lively driving manners and inviting sounds of its turbocharged four-cylinder engines. While it comes in two strengths, 246 or 296 horsepower, and all-wheel drive is standard, it’s not particularly fuel efficient. Additionally, Jaguar’s heavy weight is detrimental to acceleration times compared to competitors such as the BMW X1 and Volvo XC40. However, if a small rear seat and high price aren’t the deciding factors, the 2022 E-Pace can turn heads and make you smile.

Jaguar refreshes the 2022 E-Pace range with a new design inside and out, as well as many new features available. Exterior cues include a revised front bumper with more prominent vents, a reshaped grille with a more elegant grille design, and new LED headlights with “dual J-Leaf” daytime running lights. Inside, a larger 11.4-inch curved touchscreen is now available, powered by Jaguar’s new Pivi Pro infotainment system.

Also, a digital rearview mirror joins the options sheet. The steering wheel, gear stick and HVAC controls have also been redesigned. The interior of the E-Pace also has some nicer trims and soft-touch materials. Jaguar says the compact crossover’s chassis and powertrain have been optimized to deliver better throttle response, a more comfortable ride and reduced cabin noise.

While the P300 Sport has a 296-horsepower four-cylinder engine, we’re happy with the less powerful, albeit less expensive, 246-horsepower version that comes on the P250 models. We also recommend the mid-range SE model, which balances comfort and value well. Standard features include a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel and a 11.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. We’ll also opt for the Dynamic Handling Package that adds adaptive dampers for adjustable ride quality and handling characteristics.

Engine, transmission and performance

As with most crossovers in this class, the E-Pace has a four-cylinder turbocharged powertrain. The P250 produces 246 horsepower and the P300 adds a mild hybrid system and another 50 horsepower for a total of 296. Both engines use a nine-speed automatic transmission which took a long time to shift based on our preferences. At least the exhaust makes a roaring sound at high revs.

The P250 we tested was heavier than some of the four-turbo competitors, which contributed to its slower acceleration times. While every E-Pace has four-wheel drive and ample traction, only the P300 Sport has torque vectoring technology to improve handling. The P250 was particularly comfortable, with its soft shock absorbers absorbing road imperfections and isolating occupants. While its 20-inch wheels hit rough roads, the ride quality kept the company’s mission of luxury alive.

At first, the E-Pace felt uneasy when driven enthusiastically. However, we finally found his loose body movements were downright funny during our comparison test with the BMW X2 and Volvo XC40. Sure, the Jaguar is still last in this test, but it was unanimously named the most fun to drive. Her light and precise steering was partly responsible for this address. The brake pedal had inconsistent reactions under normal conditions, but regular depressing increased response.

Fuel economy and MPG in the real world

The E-Pace isn’t the cheapest subcompact luxury crossover, with lower EPA ratings than many of its all-wheel-drive competitors. The P250 got ratings of 20 mpg city and 26 mpg highway, while the P300 got 21 mpg city and 26 mpg highway. On the 75-mph highway fuel economy track, which is part of our comprehensive test regime, the P250 got 27 mpg and the P300 scored 26. Those numbers line up with the Cadillac XT4 Sport (27 mpg), but it fell behind ride. The Audi Q3 (31) mpg and they were far from the all-wheel-drive BMW X2 (36 mpg). For more information on the E-Pace’s fuel economy, visit the EPA website.

Interior, comfort and cargo

The interior of the E-Pace surrounds the driver with a dash-slant design that places all controls close to the driver’s hands. Favorite parts of the interior include silver trim throughout the cabin and optional upholstered leather seats in 18 modes. Jaguar enhances the cabin with desirable options such as a 12.3-inch fully digital instrument panel and digital rearview mirror, as well as a head-up display and wireless smartphone charging.

The cabin also has soft-touch surfaces and some nicer materials than the previous year’s model. Unfortunately, the back seat that compressed our adult tires continues. You may have modest rear seat space, but you can carry one piece of baggage per plus one passenger. (For poor math, that means six.) With a competitive carrying capacity and plenty of storage locations, the E-Pace is a handy travel companion.

Information, entertainment and communication

The E-Pace’s infotainment system is guided by a 11.4-inch curved touch screen located in the center of the instrument cluster. While base models come standard with Pivi software including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, higher trim levels are compatible with the Pivi Pro, which adds built-in navigation and accepts wireless updates. Along with plentiful USB and 12V ports, the E-Pace offers a Wi-Fi access point and powerful Meridian stereo.

Driver assistance and safety features

The E-Pace offers plenty of standard driver assistance technologies, and the list can be augmented with several high-tech upgrades. While the base model is left out of these options, the rest are available with a 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control, and an automatic parking assistant that controls the steering wheel to facilitate parallel and perpendicular parking. For more information on E-Pace crash test results, visit the websites of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). Key security features include:

Warranty and maintenance coverage

Jaguar offers a modular powertrain and limited warranty coverage that is highlighted by our free extended scheduled maintenance.

2022 Jaguar E-Pace News

The new Jaguar E-Pace comes with a variety of updates to help you feel fresh compared to the BMW X2, Mercedes GLA and Audi Q2.

Jaguar E-Pace 2022 Design

Jaguar hasn’t changed much in the look of the E-Pace. It has a very similar front bumper and grille design, although there is a new plastic frame for both air intakes under the car’s headlights. The lights themselves come with internal LEDs, so you never have to worry about changing burnt out bulbs again.

The new E-Pace looks almost identical to the outgoing model from the side and rear. But, take a closer look and you’ll see a new silver trim in front of the front doors and a redesigned plastic grille between the exhaust pipes at the rear. However, you can get an optional black package that gives the E-Pace some darker badging instead of the car’s standard chrome.

Jaguar E-Pace 2022 Engines

The new Jaguar E-Pace comes with a choice of 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines. The range starts with the 163-horsepower diesel model with a front-wheel drive, six-speed manual gearbox that Jaguar says will return 46.9 mpg. What follows is a mild hybrid version of the same 163-horsepower motor that uses a small electric motor to give the engine a boost when revving to help you save fuel. This model has a nine-speed automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive and will return 44.3 mpg.

Compare the best SUVs for sale

There’s also a 204-horsepower version of this 2.0-liter diesel with the same gearbox and all-wheel drive that should hit 43.9 mpg, again, according to Jaguar. There are several petrol cars to choose from, including two 2.0-liter models with either 200 hp or 249 hp. The first will accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 8.5 seconds, while the second will take seven seconds.

Even faster is the 300-horsepower petrol version that will go from 0 to 60 mph in 6.9 seconds. Every E-Pace petrol engine comes with all-wheel drive, a nine-speed automatic gearbox and a mild hybrid system as standard.

2022 Jaguar E-Pace Hybrid

There is also a new hybrid version of the Jaguar E-Pace SUV called the P300e. This combines a 200 horsepower 1.5 liter three-cylinder petrol engine that powers the front wheels and a 109 horsepower electric motor that powers the rear wheels. This version can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 6.1 seconds and can drive up to 34 miles using only electric power thanks to its 15 kWh battery. Unlike other versions of the E-Pace, the plug-in hybrid has an eight-speed automatic gearbox, instead of a nine.

Charging this model from a vacuum to 80% of its capacity takes about half an hour with a 32 kW charger, while a 7 kW charger takes less than an hour and a half to reach 80% of a charge when empty. A 2.3 kW charger, such as a household wall box, will take five hours to charge the new E-Pace from a vacuum to 80%.

2022 Jaguar E-Pace inside

Jaguar hasn’t changed much inside the new E-Pace. But it gave it a dash of stylish new technology. The biggest change is the new 11.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It’s nearly 50% larger than the previous car’s screen and comes with Jaguar’s latest Pivi Pro software, which comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for smartphone mirroring as standard.

There’s also a 12.3-inch digital display instead of the two large analog dials on the old car. You can personalize the information you display with the touchpads on the redesigned steering wheel. The new system can also be automatically updated using its built-in internet connection, so you never have to visit the dealer for the latest software.

Jaguar E-Pace 2022 price and release date

The new Jaguar E-Pace is now available to order at a price of £32,575. Jaguar hasn’t announced the cost of the new P300 Sport models or hybrids, but you can expect both to cost you in the region of £50,000.
