2022 Fiat 500X Update

Although it shares its basics with the boxy Jeep Renegade, the 2021 Fiat 500X goes its own way with charming retro styling and a focus on the road. All models come with a standard turbocharged four-cylinder engine, which is good enough to weather a Milan snowstorm. Inside, the 500X also offers a modern interior design, although cargo space is limited and back-seat passengers may find space lacking. However, the Fiat’s starting price is high for the class, and competitors such as Hyundai Kona and Kia Soul offer better value for money.

The 500X undergoes minor changes for 2021. The base Pop and mid-range cruisers receive updated seat upholstery and dashboard trim, while the Sport model can now be ordered with the Sport Value Package. There is not much difference between the 500X trim levels. The Trekking Plus comes with some more features than the Trekking and Sport, but these are optional on lower models. Fiat will likely integrate the 500X and 500L models for its next generation, which should use the same basics as the newly launched 500 electric.
