2021 Infiniti QX55The upcoming 2021 Infiniti QX55 is the company’s new crossover. It looks beautiful and has a coupe look. It is a tribute to the first generation FX models. Infiniti plans to launch five new models in the next three years. The QX55 crossover is just the beginning. The new model is classified as a mid-size crossover coupe and looks very impressive.

The company’s designers wanted to move away from the classic crossover design as Audi had done with the A8. The new QX55 sports a sporty look and looks unique. The automaker will add more safety equipment than before, and overall, we can expect more technology. According to the latest reports, this crossover will travel in a coupe type with a 2.0-liter VC-Turbo engine.

2021 Infiniti QX55 Design

The upcoming 2021 Infiniti QX55 is a midsize crossover. It is the latest model from the company that looks modern, sporty and attractive. In terms of appearance, the QX55 deviates slightly from the appearance of the regular crossover. Thanks to the coupe-like roofline, the highlight of the new model. Thanks to it, the interior space is more generous, especially the headroom for the rear passengers.

The winding top line on the windows is another sign of the unique style. It’s a clear tribute to the first-generation FX. The front end deviates from the company’s design language. It looks more daring and luxurious. The back is stylish in many ways and looks incredibly modern. Like most automakers, INFINITI has also chosen the capital lettering on the back of the vehicle.

Unfortunately, the interior details are not yet available. The all-new 2021 Infiniti QX55 is sure to offer a lot of luxury inside, as always. The new crossover will borrow cues and features from previous Infiniti models, such as the QX60. However, leather upholstery and single front seats will be optional at starting upholstery. Logically, the QX55 falls between the QX50 and QX60 models.

In fact, we don’t expect more or less legroom. Thanks to the sloping roof, only front and rear seat cargo space will benefit from it. INFINITI will also introduce a new touchscreen entertainment system with a new and likely larger touchscreen.

2021 Infiniti QX55 Engine

One of the best things about the new 2021 Infiniti QX55 is the inclusion of a four-cylinder VC-Turbo engine. It is a 2.0L turbo unit with good fuel efficiency. This grinder can generate 270 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. Additionally, the fuel economy is 24 mpg city and 31 mpg highway. The QX55 crossover is a front-wheel drive model, but all-wheel drive is optional.

Loading the AWD configuration will cut the fuel economy figures slightly. The CVT transmission is offered as standard. Interestingly, the mixed variant is already quite popular. We can assure you that there will be no hybrid drive before 2022.

This new crossover has been officially introduced and will go on sale soon after its debut. The upcoming 2021 Infiniti QX55 will arrive at dealerships in the first half of 2020 as the 2021 model. The suggested price is around $ 40,000.

2021 Infiniti QX55 News

Crossovers are becoming the trendiest car on the market, as luxury SUV buyers are looking to get their cake and eat it too by combining high ride height with a sporty, sloping roofline. Sometimes the look looks natural and works; Other times, an SUV looks like a massive Volkswagen Beetle. One of those that succeeded, in fact one of the first to succeed, was the ultra-sleek Infiniti FX (later known as the QX70) from the 2000’s. Now, it looks like Infiniti is bringing it back … at least in spirit.

The company’s latest SUV will be the QX55, a coupe version of the QX50 crossover that sits, as the number suggests, between it and the larger QX60. It will compete with crossovers as the BMW X4. The latest INFINITI teaser shows a rear end resembling the FX’s signature curved roofline, which Infiniti says will have a design impact on its upcoming SUV.

All automotive timelines are undergoing drastic changes, but Infiniti has set the QX55 release date for November 11, 2020. The QX55 should arrive at dealerships in the spring of 2021 as a model car of 2022. There is no pricing information yet, but the QX50 starts at $ 37,250 and the QX60 starts at $ 44,350, so the base price for a bit is likely to be over 40,000 A good bet

The revival of a popular car in a popular segment appears to be a no-brainer for INFINITI. In fact … the same applies to launching any kind of new vehicle. Recently, the lineup has been largely discontinued – the fuel-efficient flagship QX80 has been operating in its current form since 2010, and the Q60 is the only Infiniti model currently on offer that has been repaired since 2013.

2021 Infiniti QX55 Update

Infiniti has high hopes for the upcoming QX55 coupe crossover, but the car manufacturer was forced to delay the start of production by five months.

Initially, the Infiniti QX55 was scheduled to go into production in June 2020 at the Aguascalientes plant in Mexico, jointly owned by Nissan and Daimler. However, in a letter dated January 13th, Nissan informed the suppliers that the start of production has been postponed to November 2020.

The carmaker did not elaborate on the document, but said it was necessary to “guarantee production capacity” at the plant. Autonews contacted Infiniti for more details and got a somewhat elusive response from an American spokesperson for the luxury brand.

“As stated in the message from the workshop to the suppliers, operational efficiencies drive projects forward, sometimes forward, and sometimes backward, as we move towards starting production of a new model.” The actor said.

The Infiniti QX55 was supposed to arrive at US dealerships this summer as a coupe version of the QX50 compact crossover. This unexpected delay likely means that the new model will not reach customers before December 2020. This is not good news for the brand, as US sales are in recession and Infiniti badly needs new products; The more the better.

Infiniti’s sales in the US were down 21.1 percent in 2019 to 117,708 units, and even the brand’s latest product, the QX50, saw sales drop sharply by 27 percent.

The premium Japanese company with the QX55 aims to present a competitor to the Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe and BMW X4, among other models. With a sloping roofline inspired by the first-generation Infiniti FX, the new model will also feature a different grille and front fascia design to help it differentiate from the regular QX50.

Nothing will change beneath the surface, however, as the QX55 will share its foundations with the QX50, including a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 268 hp.

2021 Infiniti QX55 Rumour

As a fan of the curvy proportions of the Infiniti FX crossover, which was later renamed the QX70, I was a little sad to see it leave the carmaker group quietly in 2017. But at least one element of FX design will still be there as inspiration for “a luxury sports coupe” Al Jadida to join INFINITI stable next year.

The new model will be called the QX55 when it arrives in showrooms in the summer of 2020. So far, we’ve only seen a schematic diagram of the QX55 roof line that, in Infiniti’s words, is “inspired by the popular FX. A first-generation performance crossover”. With little to no detail after this, it was time to put on my guessing hat for a moment and do some guessing.

The designation of the QX55 gives some clues about the nature of this new vehicle. I don’t think this is a real renaissance of midsize forex, as INFINITI would have resurrected the QX70 board for that. Instead, I’d expect a smaller, VC-Turbo-engine variant than the QX50 compact crossover, but with a coupe-like roofline and possibly sporting proportions. It makes sense: Infiniti is already reformulating the QX50 as the successor to FX on its website. Giving the new QX55 this distinct FX silhouette makes it even more realistic.

Each Infiniti model number ends in multiples of 10. Half a numerical step, I’d expect the QX55 to be the coupe-like variant of the QX50 shown here. If you’re right, that means another competitor in the niche segment of compact coupes that currently includes the BMW X4 and Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe. Given the warm reception the QX50 received upon its arrival last year, I think a QX55 that sticks to this formula could have a multi-store appeal. Of course, I also hope that the Infiniti has some kind of technical modifications to the cabin or upgrades to the new roof.

Well, the speculative hat. The summer 2020 release window means we’ll definitely learn (and see) more of the upcoming QX55 later this year, so stay tuned for more details as they come out.
