Aren't we good at putting ourselves down or giving extensive reasons for why we cannot do something? When you become aware of self-sabotage (and friends & relatives who mean well) you are better able to make conscious choices. In this workshop, you'll get to know your saboteurs and have a lot of fun doing it!

Group Coaching
Opportunity Connect
Every Thursday - 8:00 – 10:00 AM
Opportunity Connect is a group of job seekers who network, support, and hold each other accountable as prescribed by each individual. Each meeting will start with each individual announcing their goal(s) for the meeting that day. We will also end each meeting declaring what we each want to be held accountable for the next meeting.
This group collectively agrees that :
- We support each other = Encouragement, understading, caring, truth-telling/feedback
- We share experiences as time permits = learn from and help each other
- We will individually speak-up and ask for what we want/need from the group
- One meeting per month we'll have a guest speaker on a topic we agree upon as a group
- One meeting per month we will break into small groups sharing our resumes, goals, and experiences so that we have an opportunity to each other in more depth.
Each individual member/new attendee must agree to the above and participate in the group by:
- Preparing a goal sheet that can be passed out to group members (similar to a handbill)
- Goal sheet includes:
- What do you want to accomplish when networking (in any networking group)?
- Job search goals
- A goal that works toward the re-invention of yourself?
- Preparing a Passions/Values/Strengths sheet for re-inventing yourself:
(We will help you further define a focus for re-inventing yourself based upon the below.)
- Create a list of the things that you are most passionate about
(ie: helping people, outdoor sports, singing, etc.)
- Create a list of values (ie: respect, integrity, travel, fun, etc.) and define each value
- Create a list of your strengths (ie: organizing, leading, thinking outside the box, etc.)
- Announcing your individual goal at the beginning of each meeting you attend.
- Announce what you want to be held accountable for the next meeting.
This group embraces new and existing members who embrace the above agreements and responsibilities. Since the world is dynamically changing, so is our group. As we move forward, we may continue to re-invent the group as a collective. Members who are not getting what they need out of the group need to speak-up about what they want/need. This group is created by it's members and will continue to become whatever it's members agree upon.
If you are considering this group, we encourage you to be prepared for incredible support, eye-opening ideas, and a positive momentum that will keep you moving in your job search and the re-invention of yourself!
